Painting with Merlin

I was doing some painting over the wknd and my son Merlin was utterly fascinated with every aspect of it- each tiny dab of paint - each brushstroke -he inspected completely.

Obviously this wouldn’t work so well for a detailed painting - but I found that watching him literally walk on it -allowed me to see that he was infusing it with his own magical energy! So it became a co-creation. He had definite opinions and I’ll post in my story the video of him doing this.

I laughed almost the entire time - he made it so much more fun. It’s such a compliment when our animal companions want to spend all this time with us and show so much interest in what we direct our energy and attention toward. 💟🖼🐈
