Tattoo of my Kids

I would like to share my new tattoo. It’s based on a beautiful portrait of my kids Merlin & Gracie Belle by Nicole Piar. I love it so much! It is a visual reminder that they are always with me even when I’m away from home. It makes me happy to look at it.

I also have (an older) one of my first 2 sons Juneau and Jarvis on the back of my neck. Not everyone is into tattoos but I love the concept of having something tangible that serves as a reminder that our companions are always connected to our hearts and souls. It could also be a piece of art or jewelry that reminds us of them or a special stone we carry. 

When our companions are in spirit it becomes especially meaningful to have visual tangible connections, like photos and portraits around the home as well as on our phones.
